Hi, I'm Georgina.
I feel very passionately about women who've lost themselves in relationships or people pleasing patterns, because I've been there myself. I know what it's like to drift through life being easy, capable, and good at putting others first, while quietly losing track of who you actually are and what you actually want.
That experience is a big part of why I work with the women I do and why I care so deeply about it.
Who I Work With
You've always been told 'you're so strong.' You're constantly expected to hold it all together - no one ever assumes you'll say no. You stay quiet so the people in your life are happy. You don't want to be a burden.
If any of that sounds familiar, you're in exactly the right place. This work isn't about fixing you - because there's nothing broken. It's about understanding the patterns that shaped you, and slowly, gently, finding your way back to the parts of yourself you had to put away.
As your counsellor, I'll be equal parts supportive and challenging. I'm here to listen, encourage, and stand beside you through the hard times. But I'll also gently push you to look deeper when it feels right. I truly root for every client I work with, and I care deeply about this work.
I believe counselling has to be purposeful. Together we'll work toward what matters to you. Whether that's changing people-pleasing patterns, finding calm, learning self-compassion, or building stronger self-worth. Every session is part of a journey, and while it won't always be easy, it's always moving somewhere meaningful.
If there's one thing I can promise - counselling with me won't be boring. There will be sessions that feel hard and heavy, and there will be sessions where we end up in fits of laughter. Both kinds are healing. Both are valuable.
What Does Counselling With Me Feel Like?
Qualifications & Experience
I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling and am an accredited member of both the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (UK) and the Australian Counselling Association. I've worked at an NHS-funded grief centre, a free counselling charity, and have been in private practice since 2025.
My Approach
I'm trained in Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, and Person-Centred counselling. I promise that sounds more intimidating than it is. What it essentially means is that I have a lot of different ways of working, and I'm not wedded to any single one of them. You're not going to get a one-size-fits-all approach, mostly because one-size-fits-all is a lie that only really works for hats. As I get to know you, I'll adapt how we work together to suit you - and I genuinely want you to tell me what's working and what isn't. You're the expert on yourself. I'm just here to help you hear what you already know.
This is the place where it’s ok to put yourself first for once - no pressure just a space to talk.
All sessions take place online, so wherever you are in Australia or the UK, this space is available to you.
